More Money? Who wouldn’t Want More $$$

Who wouldn’t want to have more money?
More time to spend it and more time to do what you really want to do…
Sounds like a dumb question. Everyone has the ability to achieve all the above.
This article from Brian Tracy really hit home with me and hits the mark when it comes to using your time wisely. I hope it does as well with you.
“It’s really not the money that makes you happy! It’s what having money allows you to do.” You may want to spend more time with your family, attend more of your kid’s events or work more with your favorite charitable organization. It’s really up to you to decide.
Boost Your Productivity
By: Brian Tracy
Push to the Top
All successful people are very productive. They work longer hours and they work better hours. They get a lot more done than the average person. They get paid more and promoted faster. They are highly respected and esteemed by everyone around them. They become leaders and role models. Inevitably, they rise to the top of their fields and to the top of their income ranges, and so can you.
Everything is Learnable
Every single one of these tested and proven strategies for managing your time and doubling your productivity is learnable through practice and repetition. Each of these methods will eventually become a habit of both thinking and working.
The Payoff is Remarkable
When you begin applying these techniques to your work and to your life, your self-esteem, self-confidence, self-respect and sense of personal pride will go up immediately. The pay off for you will be tremendous, for the rest of your life.
Make A Decision!
Every positive change in your life begins with a clear, unequivocal decision that you are going to either do something or stop doing something. Significant change starts when you decide to either get in or get out, either fish or cut bait.
The Vital Quality of Success
Decisiveness is one of the most important qualities of successful and happy men and women, and decisiveness is developed through practice and repetition, over and over again until it becomes as natural to you as breathing in and breathing out.
Why People Are Poor
The sad fact is that people are poor because they have not yet decided to be rich. People are overweight and unfit because they have not yet decided to be thin and fit. People are inefficient time wasters because they haven’t yet decided to be highly productive in everything they do.
Become An Expert
Decide today that you are going to become an expert in time management and personal productivity, no matter how long it takes or how much you invest in it. Resolve today that you are going to practice these principles, over and over again until they become second nature.
Action Exercises
Here are two steps you can take immediately to put these ideas into action.
First, hold your own feet to the fire. Resolve to start earlier, work harder and stay later. Don’t let yourself off the hook.
Second, become an expert in time management. Learn and practice time management techniques every day until they become habits.
Now, make it your heart’s desire to become the person you really want to become and don’t let anything stand in your way.

“It’s Not What You Know That Will Hurt You, It’s What You Know That Ain’t So!”

Boy, how true this really is when it comes to Real Estate news and technology. I was very fortunate to be able to attend the Inman News Conference in San Francisco last week and what an eye opener it was. Listening to many nationally known leaders in the industry helped put this “lousy” market into perspective.
Facts are being spun the way the media wants them for sensationalism and to increase readership. Are they truthful? To a point, yes.
But they spin it for their own profits/sales. Check out the facts. Especially in your own local market place. What’s happening nationally isn’t necessarily what is fact in your location. Technology is really taking a lead role in imparting facts to the consumer.
How do you get the facts? You have to be resourceful.
Blogging has become a monster in this information/technology support and you can find infomation on just about anything. The question becomes, how do you know what’s being discussed is accurate.
It’s all about the author/source. Can they substatiate the facts? Check them out.

Want To Hire A Realtor Who Agrees With You?
Posted by Ron Brownell | Currently 1 Comment »
In your search for a qualified and educated Realtor to work with on the marketing of your home or the search for a new home, there a few things to keep in mind. Your professional Realtor will supply you with facts and information to make a truly qualified decision about timing, price, marketing strategy and staging your property.

You may not necessarily agree with their evaluation of what the list price or the suggested offer price might be, however you can and should feel confident that you have hired an agent with the experience and ability to understand and be able to explain the market conditions of the specific area you are interested in.
They must also be interpreting the “Comps” and “Conditions” that exist in your neighborhood to help in your making the very best decisions.
So many times, Sellers and Buyers will lose out on the first few attempts because they did not “trust” the opinion of their Realtor.
This frequently results in lost time and quite often dollars.
If you don’t have confidence in the professional person you have chosen then you are undoubtably working with the wrong person.
Have confidence in your Realtor, and happy selling!

Exclusive Properties Starts the Year by Giving

Exclusive Properties‘s commitment to serving the community goes beyond providing buyers and sellers the best in real estate services. Every time a Exclusive Properties sales associate sells a home, a portion of the commission goes to the Exclusive Properties Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to local charities.
“At Exclusive Properties, every transaction counts,” said Principal Broker and Exclusive Properties co-owner Jim Browne. “I’m proud to be part of a company that places such a high value on giving back to the community. And I am even more proud at how our agents embrace the spirit of giving back.”
On top of the money donated from every real estate transaction made through Exclusive Properties, the agents also participated in numerous events in the community. This past year you could find Escondido agents sitting outside their office on Friday nights working at Cruisin’ Grand. They hosted a mobile blood drive, gave mini concerts and hawked hot dogs and water bottles.
As a result of their efforts, Escondido Branch Manager Ron Brownell, and his team of agents, were able to donate $1000 to the local charity Rebuild Escondido, an organization established to assist victims of the October firestorm in the Escondido area.
Meanwhile, Exclusive Properties agents from the Carmel Valley office organized a book drive to help build the library at the new East Ocean Air Elementary School. Realtors Shapar Ostovar, Jean Wilson, Peggy Chomas and Dara Chantarit, who coordinated the book drive, collected nearly 500 books for the school.
Contributions from Exclusive Properties agents and the public have allowed Exclusive Properties to distribute more than two million dollars annually in recent years. Exclusive Properties started 2008 by giving and looks forward to another year of enriching lives in our communities.

Exclusive Properties Announces 2008 Team Management Plan
Posted by Erica Vautier Liodice | Leave A Comment »
Exclusive Properties is ringing in the New Year with intensified agent services. We have restructured our management team for 2008 and are ready to offer our agents increased support, complimentary coaching, exceptional training and exciting new marketing tools.
For most San Diego real estate professionals, 2007 was a year full of challenges. That’s why we use a unique management style with multiple levels of support to ensure that our agents have the best resources at their fingertips. Whatever situation may arise – from a credit crisis to a wild fire or a correcting market place – we want our agents to know that we are there for them.
“Teamwork is a fundamental part of the way Exclusive Properties conducts business,” said Exclusive Properties President, Mark Loscher. “We believe that by working together our output will always be greater and the quality of our already outstanding services will continue to improve”
Exclusive Properties San Diego offices have a team of management, marketing, and administrative professionals ready to assist agents and clients. In addition, the company conducts on-going weekly training classes that are available to agents in every office.
“Our goal is to use our combined talents to support Exclusive Properties agents more efficiently and more effectively, in our constant quest to provide exceptional service to our clients” said Loscher.
This year’s educational calendar will feature popular classes and Top Agent Panels from past years, and an infusion of training sessions on the industry’s latest marketing and technology. Agents can expect a host of new tools, lead generation plans, and interactive recorded training sessions that can be viewed from anywhere over the internet.
Other improved agent services include a mentoring program and a complimentary coaching program. Exclusive Properties agents can enjoy one-on-one sessions with experienced managers who coach them on writing business plans, generating leads and much more. The Mentorship program allows newer agents to work with seasoned professionals within the company in a mutually advantageous relationship.
Exclusive Properties continues to offer a non-corporate environment for agents and, despite its growth, maintains a family-like atmosphere. Every agent has access to all offices, giving them a solid support system designed to fit their needs and the needs of their clients.
“Last year was a great year for Exclusive Properties. We substantially increased production, hired a lot of excellent agents and invested in new technologies,” said Loscher. “With the best people and the best tools in place, I am looking forward to making 2008 our most successful year yet.”
