Poway Unified School District Has the Community to Thank for Saving the Bus System
Posted by Sean Zanganeh | Leave A Comment »
After an uncertain summer for the Poway Unified School District’s bus transportation services, the bus program is up and running for another year. It was announced in May that one of the last remaining North County school bus systems would be axed, due to increasing budget cuts and financial restraints. But true to their roots, the community came together to raise money to keep the buses running and drivers with jobs for another year. On September 24th and 25th, the Poway will combine traditions of the old West with Cowboy heritage in the city’s annual Poway Rodeo. The event is a natural fit with Poway, whose “city in the country” motto plays up a rural and horse-friendly atmosphere despite the city’s close proximity to bustling San Diego. How is Real Estate?
Posted by Patty Moore-Davidson | Leave A Comment »
A frequent question I hear is “How is real estate?” Everyone seems to have an opinion. We are bombarded daily with input that influences how we perceive our overall financial outlook, including the value of the homes we live in. If you look at the numbers, home prices in our area are holding, hopefully stabilizing, interest rates are low, and buyers are buying, if they can get a good deal. Sellers often ask…What can I do to improve the value of my home? Proven results show: Think curb appeal, de-clutter, apply fresh paint where needed, and do the white glove test. It will make a difference in the time on market and the price received!
Feel free to contact me anytime and we can talk about what will work best for your home.
