Rumor About McCain – Approved Village Plan For Carmel Valley’s Pacific Highlands Ranch

Pacific Highlands Ranch got it’s approval last week for a new village plan at the planning board meeting. It’s great news for the families that live in and around the area. It’s convenient to actually walking to the theater and shopping is the bomb! I’m certainly hoping for a Trader Joe’s or Henry’s, I’d be happy with either but both would even be better.
The 27 acres on Carmel Valley road (next to Canyon Crest) will be mixed use. A park area will be provided for relaxing or walking. Restaurants are also a part of what to look forward to, Italian would be nice or a good fish place, Yes!
286 Residential units will take up some of the acreage and 3 acres for the proposed Library.
I’m personally looking forward to the convenience even though it’ seem like for ever and a day away in 2013. Well at least it’s finally going to happen. Click here for location
ON THE RUMOR FRONT: Was McCain having dinner at The Grand Resort when he was here? It’s very possible — there were helicopters and what looked like secret service swarming around the Grand, so it very well could have been him in San Diego last week.
