Want to Help Haiti? What Organizations You Should Feel Safe Giving Money To…
Posted by Nancy Canfield | Leave A Comment »
No matter how meager our own circumstances are, we can never experience what they are going through in Haiti. I won’t recap everything that’s available on CNN, and Voice of America but just simply send out a plea for your help. Let’s post legitimate rescue efforts for each other to contribute to. Inevitably the lowest of the lowlife surfaces to take advantage of a situation like this, and that is doubly evil: First because the scamster benefits, and second because those in need just lost the donation you gave unsuspectingly.
Don’t give to charities that spring up, trust the organizations you know like Red Cross, Rotary, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Jewish Family Services, your local church or synagouge. From Dave Brooks of RB Rotary,
“ Our Rotary club has asked us to send donations to our foundation, which will coordinate the fund distribution through Haitian Rotary clubs.”
From another community member, Pat O’Sullivan of Village Mail and More, if she wanted to help with collections. Her response was very sound, “My understanding is that cash is badly needed – Food, clothing, etc. are difficult to transport and logistics can be very difficult.”

Xerox is doing something cool…
Posted by The Windermere Team | Leave A Comment »
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can’t pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them.
This takes just 10 seconds and it’s a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank you’s.
Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

Windermere Exclusive Properties Grows and Gives Back in San Diego County.
Posted by Donna Niksich | Leave A Comment »
Windermere Exclusive Properties has experienced and will celebrate a phenomenal year of change, industry challenges, success and growth within our company. However, we are not all about selling real estate.
We are committed and passionate about providing integrity, loyalty, customer care, real estate knowledge to our buyers and sellers and every transaction makes a difference!
Windermere throughout the West, strives to pay it forward to our communities. Windermere Exclusive Properties located in North San Diego County, will celebrate the holiday season just as all companies and organizations do during the holiday season.
Although we plan to celebrate this festive season with our colleagues to enjoy and reminisce the awesome and sick (that’s California lingo) year we have been blessed with, we have another motive.
Windermere is all about giving back to the community. Our agents and employees will donate at least one item to the Community Resource Center (CRC) Holiday Basket Program. With the help and graciousness of our Windermere agent, Daniel Greer, donations will be delivered to the CRC at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on December 18th where they will distribute our contributions to the less fortunate throughout the community.
We are excited to participate once again to the CRC in giving back, along with several of our agents who have individually contributed, like Jen Trafficanda and her daughter have for several years as well as this year.
In addition to coordinating our efforts to the Community Resource Center, we will also hold a fun and exciting Live Auction to include great prizes with proceeds provided to our Windermere Foundation which will benefit local charities we deem are in need.
If you are interested in joining our effort to contribute to San Diego communities, please contact your Windermere Realtor, drop off your contributions to any of our North County office locations, or contact donna.nik@windermere.com if you would like to donate an item for our Live Auction which takes place on December 17th.
Giving back to the community is a Celebration and Heartfelt Satisfaction.
