Video Montage: Scenes from our Company Meeting & Happy Hour
Posted by Erica Vautier Liodice | Currently 3 Comments »
The Company Meeting and Happy Hour attracted a hundred guests. We ate, drank, networked and some of us even left with great prizes.
We heard from Company President, Mark Loscher about the industry and Exclusive Properties’s plans for the future. He told us how Exclusive Properties is building a strong foundation for our agents and that they are in the right place for when the market turns.
Director of Business Development and Branch Manager twice-over, Rich Johnson announced our new in-house Insurance Division. JBL Premier Insurance offers home, auto, life, and business insurance services. Having our own Insurance Division will help Exclusive Properties agents give their clients comprehensive service.
We did live demonstrations of our new blog site and I gave agents their first peak at our new Agent Resource Center. As it’s name suggest, our Agent Resource Center is a single website (linked to Picture Perfect San Diego) that our agents can go to for company news, industry updates, video training, marketing and listing material, a live company calendar and so much more!
Here’s a video montage of the night, captured for us by Barry Fisch. Check it out!
Great job putting this evening together team, and thanks to all of the agents who came!

Invasion in Carmel Valley
Posted by Catherine Thoreson | Leave A Comment »
October 25th was a lovely Fall day. A perfect day for a party. All the preparations had been made. It was time. Then it happened. They came by the hundreds. They came as princesses, ninjas, pirates and witches. Neighborhood children, parents with strollers and grandpa
rents in tow. Even family pets.
It was the annual Torrey Hills Plaza Fall Festival and, once again, the agents at our Carmel Valley office of Exclusive Properties Exclusive Properties were ready for the fun-filled afternoon.
This festival has been known to draw in approximately 1200 people and since the weather that day was beautiful, we expected at least that amount.
In addition to a bouncy house, face painting and fire truck, participants were encouraged to stop by each business in the plaza for treats. Visitors to our office were greeted by Oogie Boogie, and enjoyed crafting a cute foam Halloween frame, participated in our famous coloring contest and, of course, received candy.
We also had something for the adults- bottled water and our expertise of the real estate market. Exclusive Properties has several wonderful tools for the homeowner or potential home buyer, and we always like to share what
we know.
Exclusive Properties is known for it’s company-wide community involvement, and this festival provides us another way in which we can give something back to the neighborhoods we work and serve in.
We enjoyed meeting everyone that stopped by and invite you to drop in anytime. We always have a qualified agent available to assist with your real estate needs.
After all, we are the neighborhood specialists.
To see our Top Picks of this year’s coloring contest, click here. All winners received a Free Kid’s Meal at Pick Up Stix. Call Catherine Thoreson at (858) 592-9757 for more details.

YOU GOT STRESS? Here’s How to Cope!
Posted by Pam & Joanna | Currently 1 Comment »
There seems to be a virus going about at the moment called STRESS. I am meeting way too many people that are on the edge right now. It’s hardly surprising given the current financial situation of the country.
Worry and stressful thinking can affect our well being. So we must do something to reduce our stress, especially in times like now.
If you don’t take the time to enjoy a few minutes of relaxation - begin today. There’s no time like the present moment. Sometimes I think people take better care of their cars than they do their bodies. They keep them clean, well fueled, lubricated, and in good working condition.
Think about it. What do you do when your car gives you a warning that something is wrong? But what about your body – what If you let all this stress get to you over time ? The effects will be devastating on your health, your family and your life!
I began practicing yoga about seven years ago, it is one of the best things I ever did. So I just want to share a little of this with you, perhaps it will help give you some peace of mind.
Absolutely anyone can do yoga, the fat,the thin, the beautiful, the ugly, the old, the young, the sick, the healthy, the rich, the poor. You do not have to be fit or flexible – I have taught yoga to people in wheel chairs and people who are confined to their beds.
How does yoga heal your body? – Almost immediately your body responds positively to deep breathing and stretching. You begin to relax.
The postures help you to become strong and flexible.Your internal organs are toned. Regular practice also helps to regulate your metabolism and the functioning of your glands and organs as well as strengthening the nervous system and mind. It will move you towards positive thinking which creates an attitude of respect and self acceptance towards your body so that you can take better care of it. You achieve overall balance in your life which over time time will help you to become mentally stronger and able to deal with the stressful situations in your life.
So find a teacher who you enjoy and stick with it – try some gentle relaxing yoga – it will make a difference to your life……
