Signs of Change in Westwood Valley, Rancho Bernardo

How is real estate? Well, it depends on how you look at it. In trying times, especially, I prefer to look at the glass as half full. Nationwide and locally, sales volume was down in July. Terms that grab the eye are “plunged 3.5%” “weakest in 13 years”, and “falling prices”. There is more to the story….
| Month | Average List Price | Average List $ Per Sq. Ft. | Av. Sale Price | Average Sold $ Per Sq. Ft. | Closed Escrows | Av. Days on Market |
| June 2011 | $ 567,694 | $ 259 | $ 549,899 | $ 251 | 66 | 74 |
| July 2011 | $ 579,504 | $ 265 | $ 564,772 | $ 258 | 60 | 57 |
….We are in a highly desirable area. Wherever you travel, don’t people say to you “Oh, you’re from San Diego, I love San Diego. It is my favorite place”. Also, the average 30-year mortgage rate is hovering just above 4%, the lowest level on record for decades, making housing more affordable. People with money and credit are buying real estate and the lucky ones are moving to Rancho Bernardo. Click here for a map link

My half full cup of tea says that San Diego and beautiful Westwood Valley are going to come out ahead, sooner rather than later. I see the signs!
The time for action is now. Call me today to see homes in the area!
