Join this Wonderful Event: Help Fight Childhood Hunger in San Diego and Throughout the World
Fighting Hunger both here in San Diego County and across the world is a major priority of Friends and Family Community Connection (FFCC). In 2008 alone, FFCC volunteers and contributors purchased, packaged, and shipped over 1,200,000 me
als to Tanzania, Africa and distributed food to local families in need.
Food packaging events are held every few months at volunteer locations countywide. Join us on Saturday March 20 or Sunday March 21 for the One Million Meals Event at the Church at Rancho Bernardo by Volunteering for a 1-2 hour time slot, or donate toward the purchase of the rice, protein, vitamins, and vegetables that go into each meal.
9am—7pm Saturday March 20 or 9am—3pm Sunday March 21
