As the season heats up and you find yourself running all over San Diego to enjoy the festivities, you’ll undoubtedly appreciate the many wonderful events close to home. One such as the 4th annual Tree and Menorah lighting hosted by the Rancho Bernardo Business Association, December 1st at 5:30 p.m. outside San Diego National Bank at 16789 Bernardo Center Drive.
Santa Claus will be on hand for the festivities, and music will be provided by the
Rancho Bernardo High School Madrigals. The award-winning singing group will lead
those assembled in Christmas carols and music appropriate for the Menorah lighting.
“Lighting the Christmas Tree and the Menorah is a great way to get into the spirit
of the season,” said Marty Judge, board member and chair of the event. “There are
always a sea of smiling faces at the conclusion of the ceremony,” he said.

A reception featuring beverages and hors d’oeuvres will begin immediately after the lighting ceremony inside the bank. The cost of the reception is $10 for those who are not members of the Rancho Bernardo Business Association.
The giant Menorah is furnished by Congregation Chabad through the efforts of Rabbi Goldstein.
No reservations are needed to attend the lighting ceremony.
