Miramar Air Show October 2 – 4
Spectacular airshow with the famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels and much more. Free general admission, but preferred seating tickets are on sale now. For an eco-friendly alternative, ride your bicycle there and part in the complimentary bicycle pavilion.
La Jolla Art and Wine Festival- Saturday and Sunday October 10 -11.
A fun outdoor activity in La Jolla San Diego, to fund programs at local schools.
Little Italy Festa October 11th
Now, The Little Festa is know to be the largest Italian Festival this side of the Mississippi. Tantalizing Italian food a music and culture and Art!

Little Italy Association and a small group of community members organized a festival that celebrated Italian culture not only in the entertainment provided, on the one stage, but the types of vendors that were allowed to display their wares along India Street.

San Diego U.S. Women’s Triathlon Series October 17
7 AM at Mission Bay (South Shores Park, SeaWorld Drive). Choose a Sprint (3/4K swim, 23K bike, 5K run) or Supersprint (375-meter swim, 10K bike, 2 1/2-K run) distance triathlon. This event raises money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

“First Friday” October 2nd
Mark your calendar for the First Friday of the month as “First Friday’s”. Bernardo Winery will be hosting their very own Art Walk! Each first Friday of the month, October 2nd, the Winery will be open from 5 to 9 at night and you will be able to taste wine, eat dinner at the Cafe Merlot and peruse some exciting exhibits of local Artist and their work… The Bernardo Winery, as you may know, support art to the fullest extent, from sprouting young professionals to older, more seasoned ones, we love the arts and this is the way we’d like to help! Students from local schools will be showing their art, as well as live dance performances and live music performances by young local artists

Scream Zone Del Mar- The Haunted Hotel September 25 – October 31
Tickets on sale now for this annual horror-house scream fest. Not for children 10 and younger or those easily frightened. At the Del Mar Fairgrounds
Fri and Sat 6 PM – 1 AM,
Sun, Wed and Thurs 7 PM – 11 PM.
$14.99 for brave souls willing to scream.
$27.99 for all three – Haunted Hayride, House of Horrors and The Chamber. Military discount tickets sold at base ticket offices.
