Recently returned from 10 days in beautiful Los Cabos. Did you know the sun shines there on average 360 days a year? Only one of many reasons why the Los Cabos region is one of the best places on the planet to own a vacation home.
Most of the 10 days was spent entertaining and touring prospective buyers for Windermere’s newest International Projects, “Cabo Vinorama Estates Lots“, and the ”Casa del Sol Beachhouse” Fractional Ownership Opportunity which we now have financing available for.
Although this is considered the “off season” for Cabo, it did not seem to be the case. The hotels, restaurants, bars and beaches were in full swing. Good to see the local economy getting some sense of recovery after the swine flu debacle. It was ridiculous that the media put out such a generalized warning about not traveling to Mexico when there still to date has not been one single reported case of swine flu anywhere in Baja. The closest case was over 1500 miles away in Mainland Mexico.
We had the unexpected pleasure of witnessing an extremely unusual ocean surge that brought 10 to 12 foot waves to many of the local beaches. Surfers and photographers were out in force. I enjoyed the 80+ degree ocean temperature that we never get to experience here in San Diego. So please keep these two projects in mind for anyone you know who loves to surf as they are located right in the middle of two of the best south facing surfbreaks in all of Baja (Punta Pefecta & Nine Palms). It truly is a surfers paradise.
