“Being successful is a state-of-mind. If you use this time as an excuse for your business you’re only hurting yourself,” said Steve Rodgers, President of Exclusive Properties.
“Every bottom has a top and every problem has a solution. It’s
important to relay that message to everyone around you to keep morale high and to make all goals seem attainable.”
Rodgers recently offered this advice to entrepreneurs, business owners and executives alike at the Mind Marketing and Millions Conference in San Diego. Year in and year out, the conference pools some of the nations most inspirational and successful professionals to offer advice to business owners and the top executives of tomorrow.
This year’s core group of speakers featured host John Assaraf, along with renowned authors, financial advisors and Southern California’s premiere real estate executive Steve Rodgers. Each speaker offered advice and personal experiences to those in attendance to help them understand the due-diligence necessary to set and achieve professional goals.
“The economy as a whole has dealt with ponzi schemes and turbulence. Today’s market is relying on established relationships and trust. It’s our job as the leaders of tomorrow to portray ourselves in a positive and self sufficient manner,” noted Rodgers.
Just three short months after his departure as President and CEO of Prudential California Realty, Steve Rodgers moves with excitement and contagious energy as the new President of Exclusive Properties.
In an economy that shifts with uncertainty and where lay-offs seem inevitable, Steve Rodgers is looking toward expansion. Many real estate companies are being forced to make difficult decisions, closing office doors and reducing their total number of agents.
As the new President of Exclusive Properties division, Rodgers is using this opportunity during a pensive economic time to jump-start expansion, with plans to open new offices and recruit new agents throughout the Southern California market.
For the month of February the median sales price was down almost 29% from a year earlier in the six-county region. While this type of statistic gives agents reason for concern, Steve Rodgers points out that, “Home sales for February were actually up over 40% from a year ago, and all of these consumers deserve the finest in real estate sales and professional services support. That’s why I see opportunity.”
Steve Rodgers welcomes feedback to all points of discussion and encourages everyone interested to leave comments.

Hi Steve,
Our thinking helps to create the results which we receive in life. Many spend too much time on the physical effort required to receive riches without putting any time into the mental effort required to attract riches.
Like you said, being successful is a state-of-mind.
Thanks for sharing your insight
