Shannon Sullivan, daughter of Susan ‘Sully’ Sullivan in our downtown Carlsbad Village office, had the unique opportunity to intern as Office Administrator last summer where she gave support to the busy office. This worked out well for her bank account as well as her presentation for the Academy Intern class at Carlsbad High School where she is a senior this year.
The Academy Intern program teaches kids how to get into the workforce and was a vaulable introduction to real estate and office administration for Shannon, as she took on important tasks that will be added to her resume in the future.
As part of passing the class, Shannon had to create a powerpoint presentation in front of three of her teachers for evaluation. Shannon put together a great entertaining show and to further Windermere’s support of Shannon, the high school intern program, and the community where we do business, Carole Ferris, Office Manager for the Carlsbad Village office attended the presentation, as well as Sully and Bobbie Ryberg.
Just another way Windermere reaches out to support the community, the schools, and individuals where we do business. Thanks Carole and Bobby!
